A Brief History of Companion Pet Clinic

Dr. Arthur Mills has owned the practice since 1987. He believes that the success of the clinic is partly due to the need that is present in our community, but primarily due to the employees' commitment, devotion, and concern for the pets and clients they serve. We strive to provide the best care we can to each and every patient we see. In 1994, Companion Pet Clinic North Salem was accepted as an Accredited Hospital Member of the American Animal Hospital Association. Only 14% of the small animal facilities in North America can claim this distinction. To maintain our accreditation, our hospital must meet the Associations high standards for quality veterinary care. We are regularly evaluated by trained AAHA professionals to ensure that we maintain association standards and provide the best veterinary care we can.

Please call to be added to our Daily List. Calls start at 7:30 am Monday - Thursday and Saturday and 9:30 am on Sunday. The daily list usually fills up by 8:30 am. We do keep an Overflow List as well but there is not guarantee of being seen. These lists are only for that day and they start over the following day.

We have an extremely high volume of calls from 7:30-9:00 am. If you are not calling for an exam, the best time to call is between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, or email: companionpetclinicsalem@gmail.com


For Medication refills: Please allow up to 72 hrs. For the fastest service, please TEXT our pharmacy technician. We will get back to you as quickly as possible.
